Maintenance, Monitoring and Care Plans
Buy the panels once. Keep them producing for 25 years.
Monitoring, cleaning, inspections, and full roof coverage through our roofing and exteriors partners. Yearly Raydn Care plans plus one-off diagnostics, all handled by the same Master Electrician who installs them. Not a call centre, not a subcontractor.

Tell me what your system is doing and I will tell you what it usually means
Six reasons people call me about a system somebody else installed. Tap the one that sounds like you. You get what it usually turns out to be, what I check on site, and which plan or visit covers it. Nothing is sent anywhere and there is no form in here.
Your bill went up, or the app shows less than it did last summer at the same time of year.
What it usually is
Soiling, snow, a tree that grew, or one dead microinverter. One dead micro on a 24 panel roof is about 4 percent of your production. Nobody feels 4 percent. You only see it if somebody reads the panel by panel data, which is exactly why it sits there for a season.
What I check on site
Panel by panel production against the same month last year, then a meter on whatever reads low. Data first, ladder second.
What covers it
Essential at $249 a year catches this one without anybody coming out, because the alert lands on my phone instead of waiting for you to notice.
The inverter has a light on it, or the app sent you something that reads like a warning.
What it usually is
An arc fault trip, a ground fault, grid voltage out of range, or a communications dropout that is not a fault at all. A good share of the alerts I get called for turn out to be the house internet, not the solar.
What I check on site
Fault history straight off the inverter, grid voltage at the point of connection, and insulation resistance if it is a real ground fault. The fault history tells me whether this happened once or has been happening for months.
What covers it
A diagnostic visit. There is no plan you need to buy first, and I will tell you on the phone if it sounds like something you can check yourself.
The panels came with the house and nobody handed you a folder.
What it usually is
Not a fault. A paperwork hole. No monitoring login, no warranty documents, no idea who installed it, and a disconnect nobody labelled. Very normal on a resale.
What I check on site
Who actually holds the equipment warranty, whether the system is still registered for net metering under your name, whether monitoring can be transferred to you, then mounts, seals, connectors and wiring. You leave with a written record of a system you inherited blind.
What covers it
A diagnostic visit for the inspection and the paperwork. A plan afterwards only if you want somebody watching it.
Weather came through and you want to know whether the array took damage.
What it usually is
Usually nothing on the glass. Panels take weather better than the rest of the roof does. What does get hurt is flashing, a mount, or a conduit run, and that is a leak later rather than a production problem today.
What I check on site
Mounts, seals, flashing and conduit, then production for the days before and after the storm so we can prove nothing changed instead of guessing.
What covers it
Complete at $499 a year includes the hands on inspection and a roof check from our roofing partner, in writing.
No fault, no alert. You would just rather know.
What it usually is
The right instinct, and the visit I find the most on. A system nobody has inspected is where torque walks, a lug goes loose and a connector sits half seated for three winters.
What I check on site
Torque on every lug I can reach, connector seating, seals, the breaker and disconnect, and a panel by panel production read so you have a baseline to compare against next year.
What covers it
Complete at $499 a year, or Total at $899 a year if you want spring and fall and would rather never think about it.
The company that installed it is gone, or stopped replying.
What it usually is
Better news than people expect. The equipment warranty is held by the manufacturer, not the installer, so it usually survives the company disappearing. The workmanship warranty usually does not, and that is the part that stings.
What I check on site
What the manufacturer still owes you, then what has to be paid for as labour. I write down both, including the parts that are not good news. Read the Arttus review further down this page. That was exactly this call.
What covers it
A diagnostic visit. I take on other companies' systems, including ones I would not have built that way.

Raydn Care · Recurring plans
Your panels make money for 25 years. We keep them making it.
A solar system is not a set-it-and-forget-it purchase. Snow, dust, pollen, a dead microinverter you never noticed. Raydn Care is a yearly plan that keeps your system producing at spec and catches a fault before it costs you a season of savings.
We own the whole roof, not just the panels. Through our roofing and exteriors partners we handle panel washing, snow and debris, and full panel removal and reinstall when your roof needs work. One call, one crew that answers for all of it.
