The Three Things You Actually Want to Know
"Electrician Edmonton" is a big search. Everyone answers it the same way, in ad copy that could be for any company. Here is what a Master Electrician answers instead.
1. Can you come.
Edmonton and all of Alberta. Same day service call in most cases. Emergency and after hours priced honestly on the phone, no dispatch fee surprise once we get there. If it is truly an emergency, use the emergency line and we route you faster.
Real emergency? Go here: Emergency Electrician Edmonton.
2. What does it cost.
Service call is $180 to come and diagnose. Panel upgrades start at $2,200 for a straight swap, $2,200 and up for a 100 to 200 amp service upgrade. EV chargers installed from $1,995 all in. Bigger jobs get a fixed number in writing before I start, not an hourly meter.

3. Are you licensed.
Yes. Dmitry Naboka, Master Electrician, ME# 13824. 14 years in the trade. Owner on every job, five person crew, no subcontractors, permits pulled in your name, inspection booked and I am on site for it. The paper trail is yours to keep.

The Short Answer
Most Alberta "electrician" ads are sales operations that flip your call to whoever the office had open that day. My name is on the permit. If it goes sideways, I am the one who comes back. That is the whole difference.
Or call (780) 904-3462 directly. Dmitry answers during business hours.
The Money
What Common Edmonton Electrician Jobs Actually Cost
Ballparks, not quotes. You get a firm number in writing before I start.
Service call and small jobs
- $180 service call. Diagnostic visit, tripped breaker, dead outlet, flickering lights, a smell you can't place. First hour on site included.
- $220 to $650. Add or replace outlets, install a hardwired smoke, run a dedicated 20 amp circuit, hang a light fixture that needs a box added.
- $650 to $1,600. Multiple outlets or circuits in one visit, sub-panel work under an existing service, dedicated 240V circuit for a range or dryer.
Panel upgrades (full details)
- $2,200 to $4,000. Panel swap, no service upsize. New box, new breakers, everything relabelled.
- $2,200 to $6,500 and up. Overhead 100 to 200 amp service upgrade, meter base and mast included.
- Up to $12,000. Underground service where the supply cable has to be upsized and directional drilling is needed to reach the transformer.
EV charger installs (full details)
- From $1,995. Level 2 charger install with a NEMA 14-50 outlet or hardwired unit, permit, and inspection included.
- Plus load calc. On a 100 amp panel, we run a load calculation first. Sometimes a load management device is cheaper than a full service upgrade for the same result.
If I find something behind the wall that changes the number, you hear it before I touch it. Not after.
