Panel Upgrades and Replacements

Service Entrance Upgrades
Meter base, mast and main disconnect brought up to current code, coordinated with EPCOR so the power is off once and not three times. Most homes only ever need this done once.
Sub-Panel Installations
Garage, shop, basement suite or addition, fed off the main with a feeder sized properly. On a lot of houses this is the honest answer instead of the bigger service you were quoted.
Dedicated Circuits
Range, dryer, air conditioner, welder. I run the circuit, label the breaker so the next person knows what it feeds, and I do not share a neutral to save wire.

LED Pot Lights and Lighting Retrofits
Pot lights laid out before anything gets cut, fluorescent kitchens converted to LED, under-cabinet and closet lighting. I mark the ceiling and you look at it before I open it up.
Hot Tub and 240V Spa Wiring
240V circuit, GFCI breaker, and a weatherproof disconnect placed within sight of the tub because that is where the code wants it. Trenched or run overhead depending on your yard.
Smart Home Devices
Video doorbells, smart switches, thermostats and automation rough-in, wired to a proper neutral at the box so they still work in February.

Three ways to scope residential work
The same job can cost very different amounts depending on when you do it and how much you do at once. Worth knowing before you pick.
Option 1
Just the work you called about

Best when you have one job in mind and a budget for that job.
Clean and predictable. You get a price for the thing you asked for and nothing gets added to it.
Anything nearby that would have been cheap to do at the same time gets more expensive later.
Option 2
Do it while the walls are open
best value
Best when you are renovating, or the drywall is already off.
A wire run through an open wall costs a fraction of what the same run costs once the drywall, the paint and the trim are back on. If your walls are open right now, this is the cheapest that work will ever be. We will tell you so even when it means a smaller invoice today.
It only applies while the walls are actually open. Once they close, this option closes with them.

A staged plan across a few visits

Best when there is a real list and the budget has to be spread out.
We write the whole thing down, put it in the order that makes technical sense, and book it in stages you can pay for. You always know what is next and what it costs.
Staging means more than one visit, and each visit carries its own trip.
