Not sure if you actually need one
Here is what actually means the panel is the problem.
- It is a fuse box, or it says Federal Pacific or Zinsco. Those get replaced, not repaired.
- You are out of breaker spaces. Tandems stacked in every slot means the box is done.
- Breakers trip when the dryer and oven run together. Capacity problem, not a bad breaker.
- You are adding an EV charger, hot tub, or a suite. A load calculation decides whether 100 amp still covers you.
- Lights dim when the furnace kicks in. Look at the service, not just the panel.
- Your insurer or inspector flagged it. Bring me the report.
If none of that is happening, you probably do not need one. I will say so on the phone and you will not hear from me again.

If solar is anywhere on your list, tell me before I order the panel. Sizing the service and leaving breaker space while the cover is already off costs almost nothing.
