If somebody is still quoting you a federal Greener Homes loan on a solar install, that is the moment to slow the conversation down.

The micro-generation side is regulation, not utility preference. The Alberta Micro-generation Regulation, read 27 August 2026, is what your distribution facility owner applies when it reviews an application, which is why an oversized array gets sent back and why 12 months of bills is the first thing asked for.
